Derpy

She's awesome, she's one-of-a-kind, and finally from Build-a-Bear, she's here! It's Derpy! She was released last Monday and is an online exclusive. Her officially listed name is Muffins, but the great thing about BaB is that you can create your own birth certificate with whatever name you like. While everyone knows her as Derpy, I really like both names, so I decide to combine them with Muffins as her middle name, and named her as Derpy "Muffins" Hooves on her birth certificate. Unfortunately she doesn't come with any outfit or accessories, and is a little pricier than most of the other ponies, but regardless of price, she is absolutely worth every penny as she is as adorable as you would expect. She immediately became one of my favourite BaB ponies and although I would have liked to have built her in store, I'm still really glad they made and released her. 

Also, I wanted to add that when I got her this morning, my mum said that she loved her and thinks she might be her new favourite pony. She doesn't watch the show, so I told her all about how Derpy and her eyes came to be, and she added that she loved her for her colours and cuteness, and that her eyes and her face (which is a bit lopsided) made her more special and unique, and felt that she, and I quote, "brought disability into the mainstream". The reason I mention this is because I thought it was really great that after all the controversy Derpy has had to face, my mother immediately understood her, and she doesn't even watch the show. That's something I just felt was worth sharing. 

Finally, some of you may have seen in a release email, or on Equestria Daily, that Build-a-Bear will soon be releasing DJ Pon-3. She is coming in late September with an outfit and will be available to build in stores.
